Mountain of Miracles: A Joy-Filled VBS at Three Angels SDA Church

This summer, the Three Angels Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas, was alive with energy, laughter, and the joyful sounds of children discovering God’s power through His miracles. Our Vacation Bible School (VBS) program, "Mountain of Miracles," brought together over 35 children for a week of exciting lessons, hands-on activities, music, and spiritual growth.

From the first day to the final celebration, the church transformed into a vibrant mountaintop adventure. Each day, our young adventurers climbed a little higher in their faith as they explored some of the most powerful miracles in the Bible—from Jesus calming the storm to the feeding of the five thousand. With every story, the children were reminded that God’s power is real, active, and available to each one of them.

Highlights of the Week:

  • Interactive Bible Lessons: Kids dove into Scripture in fun and memorable ways, making connections between the miracles of the Bible and the everyday miracles in their own lives.

  • Creative Crafts & Games: Each station was designed to reinforce the day’s lesson while keeping kids engaged and excited.

  • Praise & Worship: Our daily music sessions were filled with energetic praise songs that had kids clapping, dancing, and lifting their voices to heaven.

  • Warm Fellowship: The VBS was made special by our dedicated team of volunteers—church members, teens, and parents—who poured their hearts into creating a safe and loving environment for every child.

Throughout the week, the presence of God was evident. Children shared their insights during group discussions, prayed for one another, and even invited friends to join them. Several kids expressed a newfound excitement for the Bible and church, and we know seeds were planted that will grow for years to come.

We thank God for the opportunity to serve these young hearts and for every family who entrusted us with their children. We also extend deep appreciation to our incredible VBS team whose faith and service made this event possible.

As the kids stood together on the final day, singing with full hearts and bright smiles, it was clear: God met us on the mountain—and miracles happened.

Until next summer, may the joy and lessons from our Mountain of Miracles continue to inspire and uplift.
